PCV barb drilling location???
Hey guys, quick question where is the PCV barb so I can drill it to correct the opening holes?
Pics would be great if possible thanks! |

its in the rear on the passengers side valve cover. just follow the hose. you might have to wiggle it alittle bit but make sure you remvove the connector. Just fyi on my camaro when i drilled the openings bigger i was getting alot of oil sucked into my intake. i went back to non drilled stock barb and no more oil...

Before you drill, take the barb out and see if it is clogged. If not leave alone. I have now been removing and inspecting at every oil change. So far no clogging. The drilling is allowing too much flow. Bottom line keep it clean.

Pull and twist. Just be careful not to crush it if you use a pliers to grab it.

No, it's not threaded. Just friction - fit into the opening.

AMEN!! I did the drill MOD and got at least 4oz. every 1000 miles in the Catch Can. I bought another one from the dealer, drove a 1500 mile road trip vacation, got back..... NOT EVEN AN OUNCE!!! Don't Do It!!

Exactly Eddiefuzz. It messed everything up on mine with the drilled barb. When i took my Vararam filter off to clean it i couldnt believe how much oil was in the base of the Vararam filter housing. I thought i blew something.

Maybe you guys drilled it open to large? I opened up mine, and see the same amount of oil before and after doing it being caught in my RX catch can.
