How many of you have a 1SS?
Just curious why you didn't want the leather and the extra stuff!

Smoked by a GIRL

I have a 1SS/RS. Ive nvr been a fan of leather. Im a girl so in the summer I wear short shorts and it sux cuz the leather is always smokin' hot and my legs stick to it. Plus I think the leather is really stiff and uncomfortable. I drove a 2LT w hud but I didnt like it. Everything else is pointless, IMO. Im very happy w my 1SS and dont regret it one bit.

1SS/RS I didn't want to pay for worthless items i won't ever use and i planned from day one to put in my own interior. I dislike all the non matching factory offered interior colors. I have and it's Far nicer than any stock interior offered. As for the extra fluff. My Traverse has all those options but HUD and i use none of them. Oh and can we please stop calling it LEATHER.. It isn't it is 85% Vinyl and 15% leather appointed. Hell, my door inserts have more leather in them than the "leather" seats do.

I have 1SS. I saw my car on autotrader, went to the dealership to look at it, and came home with it. Had it been a 2SS for a little more I probably would have still gotten it. I wanted green SS, manual, and no sunroof, and mine met those options.

I have the 1SS/RS. All I really wanted was the LS3 and IOM with CGM rally stripes. I think leather looks pretty but... im a girl and dont like losing half the skin off my legs and butt in the summer.

1SS and the only thing i wish i had gotten would be the RS package. The leather was the deal breaker for me. They should have a 2SS with cloth seats option.

1SS here, don't care for leather in the summer. Only other thing I like was the abl, easy to do that and bought color matched door panels that I would have had to buy anyway. HUD is nice but not a big deal to me.

Love my 2SS. All the 2SS options are worth it IMO.
In all honesty though, if someone really wanted to pinch pennies the 1SS is certainly not a bad choice. I'm just the kind of person who's willing to chip a little more money in for more options. Not to mention the 45th isn't available without 2SS or 2LT.

For me it was between 1LT and 2LT (daily driver, and the V6 is more than enough power for me and I still LOVE it)....after seeing a 2LT with 25,000 miles on it and wrinkled leather, I decided I'd rather stick with cloth. Plus, cloth is more comfortable in high/very low temperatures. Love my 1LT. I know it's a bit different but 1LT vs 2LT is almost the same as 1SS vs 2SS.

1SS, no leather please. I'm a bare bones light weight kind of guy.

No to leather, gauge pack is easy and cheap to add. I didn't care about anything else on the 2SS package.
