Interior options
Anyone know the final word on options for suede vs. leather and colors? Black only or what? Inferno Orange/Red could be nice with the right exterior colors.
I'm looking forward to checking out the suede in person, and understand the function behind it providing extra grip. I also know most high-end cars have gone to the suede-like alcantera. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

I used to be Dragoneye...

Black is the only color interior offered (red stitching), suede steering wheel and shifter is optional, no word yet on whether or not the suede dash and seats are options or standard...
and...it's micro-suede. |

I would be happy to see the light weight recaro race seats as an option like the ones we see in the prototypes. I would guess it would save some weight from the standard seats.

The only real option for the interior that we know of, the micro suede steering wheel and shifter knob/boot, are an absolute must have for me.
Besides that I plan to get some nice, top of the line Lloyds ZL1 mats and an MGW retro ball ZL1 shifter. I'm done with the interior after that.

Catch me if you can

I talked to my dealership yesterday and the only information is as of now that there is no info to pass along...They are still waiting to find out the complete order details of the vehicle just like us.
For me I'm going bone stock with the interior. I am pulling out my IOM door panels I have in my SS and saving them for the ZL-1. (I have a 1SS and upgraded)

Upscale Interior European color combination would be nice that offered by BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes and Audi. I guess I am just use to having them in sports cars.

I went to the Chevy/ZL1.com site and from reading the information there, it seems to me that the suede seat inserts are standard on the ZL1 along with the red stitching. Suede on the steering wheel and gear shift knob will be optional, unknown how much. It looks like it will only be available with a black interior with gloss black door inserts.
