Can ZL1 compete with GTR

Wondering how the ZL1 would fair against the new GTR. Giving its possible price range and performance setup for the track, would it be a good competitor?

I am going to go with - NO.

But it will be fun trying.

The power getting to the ground is what makes the GTR so good...AWD AND lots of horsepower make the thing a slingshot.

Not after what the GTR did on top gear last week. Like the 4th fastest car around the track or something. just a sick car...

As far as 1/4 mile and speed I am going to say it will hang, they seem to run low 12s high 11s basicly stock. The ZL1 should have no problem hanging in there with that, but on a road course no... but I dont see it being to far behind seeing that GM is claiming this new suspension trumps the ZR1 as of now, but its a much heavier car.

If the GTR edges out a Z06 then a ZL1 wont have a prayer. Unless that ridiculous 4200lbs. curb weight includes AWD.

according to some tests, the GTR is an 11.2 second car in the 1/4. and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. weight is 3898.

THe ZR1 cant even match that let alone the ZL1.

There isn't a chance in hell this thing competes with a GTR.

Step away from the Kool Aid people.

a heavily modified GTR beat a Bugatti, so i'm gunna go with no also...i honestly think a stock GTR would still beat it...once that AWD kicks in, it takes off...my dealership took one in as a trade and i got the chance to drive it and it's just insanely quick once the AWD kicks in...great vehicle
