Door projector lights from AAC issue

So i noticed that the projection on the ground is changing in it's look and i'm guessing it has to do something with the bulb burning out. I have the wires connected where they are supposed to be, but the light is still on when i am driving my car, causing the bulb to burn much faster... How can i change this?
I can see the light shining down by my seat when i shut the doors and start driving.

I have mine connected to the door pin switch. It's a Red/White strip pos, Gray/Blk Neg.. I tested it with the door panel off and open and close of the door and it does turn off with the door closed.
