Bumblebee Yellow VS Factory Bright Yellow

Personally, I prefer the bumblebee orangey-yellow over the factory bright canary yellow. I hope the Bumblebee yellow make its way to the 6th gen.

Never was a fan of the yellow used on the 5th gen, would like to see the yellow they use on the c7 vette, although the bumble bee yellow looks nice as well.

Sunrise yellow is an extremely elaborate and expensive paint job. Just ask any of the members on here that have had it done. I love the color too but I don't think they they have the capability to mass produce that color from the factory.

It looks gold to me. I would take the factory yellow.

Top looks like a school bus to me...can't stand that color. Historically it has always been a bright yellow. My '73 was the color of the real Bumblebee and the only one that should be used in my opinion.

I might be wrong, but didn't Chevy drop yellow on the C7 for 2015?

I had a '72 Buick GS350 that was Sunburst Yellow. More of a pastel. Looked very nice. I don't have any pictures of it.

Damn the bumblebee is ugly. I do see many similarities to the front bumper on the camo car. Makes me nervous lol

Chevy dropped green from the C7's color options for 2015.

Any one seen a Ford Focus with Metallic Yellow paint? Seems they mass produce it. Chevy is just lazy. Look at the Challenger colors......

Rally Yellow and Bright Yellow are both tint coats that is why they cost extra. For me the brighter the better, even a neon yellow would be cool.

Definitely true, but they wouldn't have to use Sunrise Yellow to get a color that would by satisfyingly similar to Bumblebee's yellow.

You could theoretically take Taxi-Cab yellow, add a metallic flake to it, and you'll have something pretty close to Bumblebee yellow but is a-gazillion times more "mass production" friendly. I think it's the shade of color itself that matters moreso than the effects of the paint.
