The only air scoop available for the ZL1 is the Roto-Fab Big Gulp. It replaces the stock brake duct and provides a dual mode action. You can set it so all the air going through the scoop goes to the intake or change it to brake mode where the same amount of air as the stock duck goes to the brakes and a smaller percentage of air goes to the intake.

Is it absolutely needed -- not really. But it does provide more air at higher speeds to the intake similar to the scoops for the SS.

Just like the SS scoops, you'll need to relocate the stock washer bottle.

ADM also makes a scoop that replaces the brake duct on the driver's side. I have installed two of them and they fit great. A small amount of plastic needs to be removed behind the lower grill which is pretty easy. http://autoagenda.com/2010-camaro-v6...cold-air-scoop

Will it work with another brand CAI? I run a K&N kit.

edit: never mind. doesn't look like it will work because the K&N has a bottom tab.

if the bottom is open with the K&N or CAI intake, the ADM scoop will work as it fits way below the filter and filter access.

I will ask again since it seemed like nobody answered this.....I know I loved mine on my SS when I had it, looking to get this one for the ZL1 soon. Just out of curiosity, are you guys getting a lot of supercharger wine once it is installed? I really hate I can't hear the SC wine on this stock setup?

I installed my CAI and VMAX yesterday that I received from Jannetty Racing.

The install was very easy for both.

Love the fit and finish. And of course the super charger whine.

CAI, Inc., VMAX and Jannetty.

Please ignore any dust or dirt you may see in the photo, the car has been in hibernation for the winter.

Here is a shot of my install. Biggest reason I chose this one is I did not want anything rubbing under the hood.

Finally got to 1500 miles, baseline dyno at RPM (490.88 HP/456.50 TQ) and then this install. Went relatively well (for me) but some adjustment of the box was required for the lid to fit properly. I wouldn't want anyone else to top off the washer fluid as I still need to pull the box a little bit for the last fastener to catch. Really satisfied and looking for another session on the dyno to see what gain it makes for the vehicle. Thanks, Bill!

And I did remember to take the screwdriver before I drove the car ( a driver and 5/16 socket works better on the clamps anyway)...

Purchased from Rodgers Chevrolet, the best in the business. I thought about this purchase for a long time and at the end of the day decided on what I feel is the more "finished" looked of the CAI, Inc. unit. Very simple install. Took it out for 100 + miles today. Love the performance gain and the sound. This is a very nice cold air intake assembly. In looking at the billet intake/MAF pipe, it is clear that a lot of engineering went into making this assembly do what it is advertised to do. Also happy to support a local Michigan company.
