I tried that, doesn't work. Like I said, they're militant about the front plate in my AO.

I'll run without one until I get a ticket for it. That's what happened with my 15 1LE. The HP finally stopped giving me a warning and wrote me a ticket so I finally put it on.

I haven't run a front plate on my 2022 SS 1LE since I got it June 2022 in Long Island, NY. Nassau County PD are strict, but so far I've managed to get by. I keep the plate in the seat back pocket. I'll get a tow hook mount if I get a ticket.

I honestly don't see a point in not running one. Yes, it does take away from the aesthetic a bit, but it's not like the average person is judging our cars for concours while driving down the interstate. I can understand removing it while at a show or track event, otherwise it's just unwanted attention from LE, and a $100 ticket here where I am.
