Lightbulb Convertible Seat Recline Mod

Have any convertible owners figured out how to get their seat to recline all the way back?

I've not noticed any difference in the seats of the convertible and coupe.

Convertible driver seat does not recline far back at all.

6gens have a seat recline modification, seems like no one bothered with 5gens.

Maybe your seat has an issue but like CamaroCracka stated.. there are no differences. From my experience, I have seen no difference from being in both.

Either have I. Check under the seat and make sure there isn't anything in the way that may have gotten under it, or the swivel points. They should all be the same with the 5th gens. I have a few friends with verts and they don't have any issues.

I have a 2014 vert and I have the same issue. Had a 2014 coupe and the seat went all the way back, but the vert does not go back far at all. I think the back seat area may be narrower due to the side storage needed for the top when it's down.

The sides are wider (the back seat is narrower). This stops it from going back I think.

He's talking about reclining, not the tracks going back. I see a lot of idiots
driving around where they are almost laying down. Stupid and dangerous IMO

Right, but they hit the side panel anyway. Mine wouldn’t go all the way back.

We're not talking about the seat not reclining back far enough while driving. The inconvenience, for me at least, is if you're on a long trip and want to stop and recline the seat back far enough to grab a quick nap, you can't do it in a vert.

The passenger seat reclines further than the drivers; anyone looked into this?
