So after blowing up my throw out bearing and having a new clutch put in, along with a new rear main seal, I've had the car back for 6 days as of today. Checked my oil this morning, and popped the catch can off just for a quick look and the catch can has a half inch of milky oil. Soo I'm assuming coolant is mixing with the oil.

The dip stick is clean oil, and the oil fill cap may have very very fine traces of milkyness. My mechanic mentioned he thinks the car is running rich and perhaps it's gas that's mixing with the oil in the can because it smells very gasy. But this is the first time I've ever had this issue.

Any ideas guys? Car has a cam, headers, no cats, and a cold air intake and is running completely normally. This cars been issue after issue, and I keep thinking after I get this problem fixed, she'll be good to go, and it's just never the case. Love this car, but I can't keep a car that's issue after issue with only 30k miles on it.

Also worth mentioning, mechanic thinks cars been rich for 6 months, but this is the first time I've had this issue, so I don't think that's the problem personally.

NEED HELP ! Does the brake fluid on a 2012 Camaro Ss needs to be changed ? Or just add more ?

I can just add. Brake fluid and that'll reseal the head gasket right?

Yes, and while you are at it put a camera in your garage to see who is putting milk in your catch can.

Hi.

You really need to start a dedicated thread for this question, but since brakes are a key safety item, I would like to remind that if the brake fluid is low, that means it has gone somewhere. If you are losing brake fluid, that means you can have a serious issue with being able to stop your car.

I cannot think of a head gasket issue that would produce milky oil in a catch can, but not in the crankcase. The crankshaft would be whipping the oil to some degree, even with a windage tray.

Thinks it is rich? Respectfully, how come he doesn't *know*? He could be on to something there, but he should be able to know for sure in my opinion.
