Cammed my 1LE...
Bit the bullet and had the cam kit installed. Stage 3 cam kit from JDP Motorsports (BTR stage 3 cam), push rods, valve springs, trunyuns, Melling pump, timing chain and gear, tune. Car also has Pfadt Tri-Y LT Headers, HF Cats, X-pipe, CAI, Bo White ported Throttle body.
Had the Cam Kit installed by Lingenfelter Performance in Wixom, MI and tuned there as well. Dyno run on their Mustang Dyno with a very conservative tune at my request (for best drivability) I came out with 452 RWHP, 411 #/ft torque. FUN! Couple video's ...cold start and walk around. https://youtu.be/EYtRxQJaGpU https://youtu.be/TaZJEgeFniU Enjoy. |

Dude! I pretty much got the same thing done to my car and was thinking of changing out my exhaust. I have the Borla S type on right now but have the NPP mufflers sitting in storage and was thinking about switching them out. So tell me how do you like your NPP exhaust right now, any drone ?
Here is my setup ..... https://youtu.be/wC9UjFEa01Y

warm idle sounds good, power should have been much more. conservative tune on a cam is pointless.

Drivability is very good! Got caught in traffic a couple times now, no problem. Be sure you put a 160 thermostat in! Makes a HUGE difference on water and oil temp! Im amazed. I run 174-185 water temps and 200-215 oil temps. Gone are the 235 oil temps!

I like the tune. I may have been able to get 470+...but really, its a stupid number on a pc of paper. I like the car drivable for what I use it for. It was also on a Mustang dyno. From what I hear when I put it back on my primary tuners Dynojet, we will see a higher number. I don't really care though. Car drives great, sounds great, is very quick..and fun to drive.
