I want to say it cost me about $80ish

Definitely can be fixed but there is a coating on the rims that will probably be sanded off. My experience, once the rim was fixed, was to have the coating peel off partially up one of the spokes which eventually lead to some pitting and nasty discoloration on the chrome. I have the 22' factory reproduction rims and now I have to buy a new one because it looks pretty bad. It could be my rims and the way they are made so hopefully this issue wont happen to you.

There are companies that specialize in wheel repair. If you can't find one local, you might have to ship it to one. Wheels America in Houston does a good job. www.fixrim.com

How wide was the trailer? Open or enclosed trailer?

The trailer is enclosed. It's not that wide. I have about a foot and a half on each side max
