Hope everyone is prepared for the possible storm tonight. spoke with a friend who works at the pepboys on speedway, she said she may be able to set up some group buys for parts/and cleaning supplies.

So when is the next GTG? Anything happening (besides events in PHX area) here in Two Cows for July 4th?

The "Dairy Queen meets" off of Ina seems to have faded. Been over there twice and nobody shows.

I've only dealt with RPI, but I think given the correct prep and paint I might take a whack it it myself this time.

I dont have a cags eliminator. Is that the same thing as the skip shift eliminator? Because I have a v6, my camaro doesnt have the skip shift feature. Only the v8's have that for emissions.

If you want to play hard, avoid the Hawk Performance Street at all costs. Last time at the track they were a mess. Glazed bad and transferred more heat into the rotors than usual. Even managed to boil ATE Dot 4 Super Blue. Never had an issue with the stock pads. Ceramic pads and Motul fluid for me next time. HPS pads got tossed into the trash today after about 500 miles and I put on my used stock pads. Car stops way better. Still searching for a good solution, but I'm soured on Hawk.

Hi Sean,

For the matte hood cleaning and UV protection, I use 303 which cleans and protects the vinyl from drying out and cracking. I used it on a soft sided spa for years and it worked great. We have it on both our hoods and are quite pleased with how it looks. We ended up putting 3 coats on before the hood did not streak.....I was quite surprised at how much 303 was absorbed into the vinyl!
I ordered it on the Internet but have seen it locally, I think at Ace hardware.
