They run comparable na

The steeda 10.7 run was in -1000 da. They also had c85 fuel. Modded comparably otherwise. The cars are too close to call against the 18+ gt na vs na. The 15-17s needed more mods or very heavy weight reduction to compete NA. They were not as fast apples to apples period.

And we are still talking average joe private owner car vs a shop here.

You telling me you cant afford those million dollar wheel bearings, or you dont want to rip your motor apart just to install a crank scraper or dont want to rip your differential apart just to micropolish the gears?

C'mon man...... lol

Weren't they the ones who were being secretive about their mods, like FTW fuel and the 4:10 gear set..etc ??

I'm not discounting their slip, it's quick, but once you start omitting various items....it kind of makes you skeptical of things they say and do, they got their hand caught in the cookie jar.

Thank you. I feel really good about the car, where I am at, and knowing it has more to give. I see guys on here and on FB that are hard charging, we should see at least 6-10 new members to the 10 Second Lounge by years end.

The H/C guys are doing well and the bolt-on class should be real tight on the fast list, it's an exciting time.

I got curious and found the same things. Hard to believe anything these days.



By the way, How's MPG and running it from a roll? I'll be doing a slow build with my 2SS just throwing on one part at a time. Gears seems like a nice way to get that out of hole time good but it seems like something more suitable for a 1/4 mile build and less for a commuter and rolling start run. My car sees more highway miles than drag strips.

I was wondering why they used a 2.77 gear, I guess better mpg.
Can you change out to a 3.73 with no programming on a bone stock 376ci?
