GMS (GM employee discount) on 2017 ZL1?

Anyone have any insider information on wether GM is going to allow GMS (GM employee discount) pricing on the 2017 Camaro ZL1?

I don't know about employee pricing but I fully expect it to be eligible for the Supplier Discount. I'd welcome any inside knowledge as well. The Z06 is eligible so this should be.

I would bet you a hot fudge Sundae you will NOT see Supplier or Employee on the '17 ZL1 initially, possibly for 6 months or more IF the sales are as anticipated.

However, if the car is overpriced and doesn't sell, well then you will see all kinds of incentive programs. But I don't think this will be the case.

I'm sure at some point they will. the 2016 had a 2 month wait, when they were telling insiders 4-6 months. Gm updates this page at the start/end of every month. Once 2017 production ramps up we'll know.

I envy all you discount eligible people!!!

BTW, if anyone knows of a part time, online based GM job I can get for say...6 months please let me know.

My great grandfather owned a dealership in the late 1920's, they sold Chryslers and Chevys - does that count for anything?

You can probably find someone that can get you a supplier discount code. A lot of large companies have a GM Supplier partnership and an employee of one of those companies is allowed to give a certain amount of discount numbers out to friends and family ever year. I think it's 2 per 12 month period. Ask around to see if you can find someone you know that works for a company that has this partnership. The real tough one to come across and is the best is the GM Employee discount. Not the dealership discount, but an actual GM employee. That's the one to get

Supplier for 2016 was available on 11/30, not long after production started, thinking it will be available right away or shortly after 2017 production, including for the ZL1.

Generally once program pricing is available for a chevy vehicle it carries on to the next model year.

I'm work for GM and the employing pricing on the Z06 wasn't available for almost a year. I wouldn't expect employee pricing any sooner than 6 months from start of production.

Yep at least 6 mo. for ZL1. My post above was for current not for new specialty.

I include 50th with ZL1 as specialty.

If it's going to a year from now when GMS pricing is available, I'll end up going with a 1LE. That'll probably be available right away since it is just an RPO on the SS.

If it is a wait on Supplier Discount, it will just give me more time to save up money for it.
