You people are trouble!

So I got a used Chevy Volt to use as my daily driver. I told myself that I wouldn't pamper it and customize it the way I do with the Camaro (AKA "The Baby"). But this forum has me addicted! I've already added a side racing stripe, custom seat covers, and numerous other not inexpensive investments. And now I can't stop! I've already looked into options to make it faster! What have you all done to me??

I really like the Volt, by the way. It's such a different ride, and helps me appreciate the Camaro more when I drive it on weekends.

Just don't put a hood scoop/ blower on the Volt... that won't even fool my mom.

Hey, don't turn this into a V6 bashing! Mine is the most beautiful V6 ever. Of course I say that. But it has cold air intake, and thousands of dollars worth of enhancements (GPS, custom carbon-fiber dash, etc.) It's just that people are mean to my Camaro and it does eat some gas. Plus I need the extra space in the Volt hatchback to lug stuff around. Also, I'm averaging 250 MPG in it over the past 6 weeks (since I bought it). I'll need to post pics of both. They're hot. And I like having 2 Chevys. Even though the Volt is a more expensive car, I love the Camaro so much I keep it for the weekends.

250 MPG?!
I get 18. lol really makes me consider something else, but I know I'll end up getting something with even worse mileage if I buy another car.

OK, since I have a V6 I guess I can say it without sounding like a V6 basher.
I cannot see driving only on the weekends, mind you I do not pay attention to the MPG so that may be it. It is a fun car and I enjoy every moment. The only time I will leave it in the garage is if I am riding the Harley. It is a tough choice which one on a nice day.

I will be interested in plug in cars when they come with a 1500 mile long extension cord!
