LS2 C6 is "next best thing." LS3 C6 > LS3 Camaro. If you can afford it, the C7 is a sweet ride. LT1 is amazing. Saw my first one a couple weeks ago :-D

Reasonable?
So I'll settle for one of these one day.

for me there's the Corvette and Camaro. everything else is more expensive.
the Porsche Cayman is pretty nice I suppose. The Impala and Cadillac's are nice, but they're different types of cars. |

Define "reasonable."
I could do a Porsche Cayman S. Or maybe an Audi S5. There's always the Corvette. And then there's the strange and flavorful, interesting vehicles that aren't real expensive that would be fun to have in the garage one day, like: A GMC Syclone or Typhoon An Audi Quattro coupe An old military grade Jeep-gone-civilian like a Jeep FC-170 A first-gen K5 Blazer |

Just ordered a 2014 BMW M235i yesterday. The test drive was awesome!

I don't think anything else comes close to the bang for the buck of a Camaro SS.
Others considered: C7 Corvette $65,000 BMW 435i $61,000 BMW 335is (pre-owned 2013) $50,000 Caymen S (pre-owned 2009-2011) $55-65,000 Mustang Shelby GT500 $58,000 Nothing else offered the level of performance and options as Camaro SS for $40K.

You should test drive it. It's a fun little car! It's got turbo, 6 cylinders, my lady just fell in love with it, she never says a negative thing about my corvettes and recently my camaro. How can I say no? Plus I get to drive it too!

I've sort of chosen camps with Chevrolet and am trying to enjoy my new muscle car for what it is. I have no doubt an M235i would hang right with a stock Camaro SS in any performance contest. Congrats!

Same here, We had 4 different BMW' s in the past 10 years, but I always had a Chevy something in the garage. Here in California bmws are just way too common. Besides there's something about the camaro, and I don't mind staring at her sitting in the garage for a few minutes... something I never really did with a bmw. I'll send pics to you when the car gets to the dealer. Sorry OP for jacking your thread!
