Did you get your hand around the rotors? They are 1 1/2 thick it feels like. The breaks I have to say are just awesome.

Hahaha. Trofeo R's normally come on track edition supercars as OEM. They are like treadwear 40 (lower is stickier). This like a slick compound. Typical max performance summer tire is TW 200, max performance all-season 360, and normal performance tire is about 500.

The Trofeos I believe are 60 tread wear

Hoosiers A6, which is a soft autocross compound are 40 tread wear.

However the manufactures ratings are somewhat arbitrary.

Gotcha. I knew they too soft for SS class, which is where I foresee the Z/28 being stuck in for SCCA Solo2, even though it is so wide. SS is the highest class for the fastest cars.

Fantasy? They let it run in FS. RIGGGHHHTTT.

Lehman knows all about Solo, McRat. Like as much as you know about diesels and the quarter mile and Bonneville.

Interesting how the Z-28 has brought out all the gearheads. It's a damn fine piece of bait!

I'd be real surprised if the SEB will class the Z-28 in Street at all. Probably more like Street Prepared at best.

Hey, Skylane! Congrats! Please bring the beast to Carlsbad cars and coffee next Saturday, so we can meet you and drool all over our shoes!

Best Regards,
John
