Are the black 5 spokes factory or dealer installed on the V6?
Really liking the 5 spoke black wheel option, but don't care much for dealer installed options. Probably would not change my choice, but was curious if anyone would know at this point?
I'd also get the blacked out bowties and assuming they are factory installed. Trying to sort out the details and options as I would like to get an order in sometime soon. Just wondering what the code LPO stands for in reference to certain options as well? Did a search and came up with multiple answers. I'm sure you guys would likely know. Owned a 2010 LS and now leasing a 2014 LT, but didn't order either. Really want to order this one and enjoy the frustration of each step lol. Hoping to find a dealer that will agree to invoice on an order. Guess we'll see there. Posted from my BlackBerry Passport |

If you're wondering about the black split spoke wheels my understanding is its like buying an extra set of wheels. Most guesses are prices are about $3000 for them.

I think the 5 spoke black wheels are an option installed at the factory. LPO wheels are installed at the dealer.

According to the order guide the black five spoke rims are only available from the factory on the 2LT trim. The black bow ties are installed by the dealer. If the black out is only the gold trim you can get a vinyl black out kit for $10 on-line.

I am assuming you are getting LT trim again.

Thanks for the replies. I was referring to the 5 spoke black wheels, not the split 5 spokes. Didn't know that LPO = dealer installed. Too many bad experiences with dealers screwing things up.
Was hoping the emblems were factory installed. I've had a dealership screw up a tire rotation on my 2014. Could use the vinyl aftermarket ones to black out. Thought the black wheels with the black bowties would look hot. I know the 21"(?) on the Gen5 were dealer installed and an extra set from what I remember. I'm planning to option this one out. No limits really besides preference. Will be going with the turbo4 or the 6 though. Still back and forth between the two. Posted from my BlackBerry Passport |

I hope this isn't true. No way would I drop 3k on those compare to a rotary forged set of forgestars. I'll be getting an SS. Hopefully you can order it with those wheels on it for minimal extra (under 700) otherwise I'm out.

Yep, anything marked LPO on the option list is a dealer add-on.

The black solid spoke wheels are available from the factory on 2LT cars. The split spoke black wheels are dealer add-on.
