'18 ZL1?
Camaro News is claiming this is the 2018 ZL1. Not exactly sure where they're getting their information, but it is a really handsome looking machine!
Here's the link: http://bit.ly/1PUVoYm EDIT: Stupid Camaro News. I found the original story on TopSpeed.com (http://www.topspeed.com/cars/chevrol...9533.html#main). It's a render to show what it "might" look like. Had me super excited for a minute. Another link: http://gmauthority.com/blog/2015/05/...-zl1-rendered/

First of all it's a photoshop of the recently announced car. Someone's interpretation of it. Also, I have a feeling we won't wait past 2017 MY for the ZL1 or Z/28. One of those is likely first. But the market and Ford are too busy for GM to wait so long for the higher performance versions this time.
My guess is we will soon see the convertible and that will launch as a late 2016 model with either of the Z's coming start of '17. Fingers crossed.

Literally the first result on Google for "2016 Camaro" if you filter results to the last week.

That pic also happens to be my current desktop background ... not that that info would be overly useful to anyone seeing a supposed rendering of a 2018 ZL1

I was thinking 2017 we should see a performance model what ever they decide to call it , I think 2018 is too long to wait with all the competition.
