Question on new build ss and spoiler
I have seen it somewhere here but could not find with a search.
If you build/order a 1 or 2 SS and do not select any spoiler, do you get the V-6 lip spoiler. Or, is there still no way to order the V-6 lip spoiler on a SS? Thank for a reply. |

V6 RS lip? No...many have taken theirs off and mount the blade spoiler, so I'm sure there's a few for sale here somewhere

Thanks Glen, so this means one gets an SS with either blade or wing. no delete? Then one must remove same, fill holes, paint and install the V-6 RS lip spoiler? Or will the lip spoiler cover the blade holes?

Correct. An SS with the 1LE package gets the blade spoiler. All other SS models come standard with the wing spoiler. There isn't a "spoiler delete" option.

Yup if you get the wing, it leaves holes open for any other type of GM spoiler, that have to be filled, sanded and repainted.

Thanks. I was hoping GM had moved on this 'you get a wing, like it or not',issue. Would have to shoot the entire lid. I guess just get the plain lid, paint and the lip spoiler. Maybe sell the SS one?

Has anyone removed the SS spoiler on a 2017 Convertible with the am/fm antenna in it?
if so, what did you replace it with and how did you accommodate the antenna?
