I lived in Texas for four years and not surprised at the quote from Allstate. You will be surprised at the quote from State Farm, but you want to get quote from several different agents of State Farm. It makes a different. Having said that do not register your car in Texas if you do not have to do so.

Thanks for all the feed back. I am not a resident of OK I am a international student and as of march 5th I no longer have a Address In OK. So I thought if i am going to stay in texas and hardly ever go up to OK it would just be better to get TX Plates and insurance.
State Farm got back to me and said It would be 354 a Month which is steep kinda of double what I pay now. I asked them and they said its due to different limits in diffrent states . I am still gonna shop around in the next few days. If I can't find anything reasonable Its getting liability only , never been in a accident before and 350 a month is nuts. |

yeah no a fan of GEICO either, someone should run over that Gecko.. never quite understood why an insurance company that was (at one time)specifically for U.S. Gov't Employees would have a mascot and spokesperson with a British accent myself.
