ZR1 or Lamborghini Huracan
Happy Holidays!
Hope everyone is doing well, I had my mind set on a Lamborghini Huracan.... until the ZR1 came out. I was able to check out the ZR1 in person last week at the LA auto show, and it's amazing, to say the least. My guess is the ZR1 with all options will be around 160k, with a 20k markup. Let's assume 180k for the purpose of this post. A Lamborghini base price is 200k, realistically around 220k-240k with options. With both these cars being in a similar price range, which car would you choose? Performance or Exotic Performance wise the choice is easy, I have no doubt the ZR1 will be faster in the quarter mile and on the track vs the Huracan. As impressive as the ZR1 may be, it still won't have that exotic feel. Something about a 600hp N/A engine just has me hooked, vs a supercharged engine. Lamborghinis just have a certain presence around them, that I feel even a ZR1 doesn't have. Opinions and thoughts? Disclaimer: This is a serious question, I think both cars are incredible and would be happy with either.

The Lamborghini hands down....Luckily I have a auth lambo dealer right down the street...
I had a C7 and loved it, but the fit n finish was pretty lackluster, I’ve seen Lambo the close up and they’re nicely put together. |

If I was in the financial good graces to afford either one of those cars, it would be the Lamborghini. While Corvette is my dream car, if I had the chance to buy a Lambo, im buying a lambo

I wouldn't want either. 160 vs 220 is hardly the same price point either. From your post, you already know which one you want. Don't let a Chevy sidetrack you.

Id buy the lambo, only because in a year the mid engine vette should come out.

I think you are about 40K high on price, and ADM is unknown. Id still take the vette.

For the price difference, just the ability of saying that you have a Lamborghini is worth more than saying you have a ZR1 in my book. I'm all about big V8's and making huge american power, but I think I'd rather have a Lamborghini in the stable.

ZR1. It's gonna slay everything when it hits the streets. And track. But, having a Lambo would be nice. I prefer more luxury exotics over performance exotics tho. But, but.........I have spoken to the wife and we are seriously gonna take a look at the URUS when it comes out.

Honestly the ZR1 is a superior machine. If you take away the massive ego trip of owning a lambo you’d probably come to the same conclusion. Chevy does most of what Ferrari and Lamborghini do without $10,000 in annual maintenance.

I am now a LAMBO HATER.
I went to check out the Huracan and I don't fit. Neither did the salesman. His exact words were this: "If they'd build an interior like Porsche, we'd sell twice as many." I was also seriously underwhelmed by the interior. It's a beautiful car on the outside to be sure, but I guess it would have to be the Vette. Rob |

ZR1 is my realistic dream car.. Lambo is well, a lambo lol
If the Huracan ran a 11.4 1/4 and 3.4 0-60, I'll take the ZR1 regardless of the Lambo's status. Butttt Huracan runs a 10.6 1/4 mile and 2.5 0-60 LOL. Lambo hands down. |

ZR1 is going to be half the price of the Lamborghini, this is a strange comparison.
From what I've read I expect the ZR1 to be more fun unless the Lamborghini is a Performante (which is even more expensive). The wow factor and fit/finish on the Huracan is way higher. |
