10 seconds on 10PSI?
Has it been done with bolt on's? not sure. Can it be done? I'm trying to see if I can. Spent all last year shooting for it and came very very close many times but car made 11.0 passes at 127-128 several times on different occasions, but 10's have eluded me. I run at a PA track so DA is always a problem. I realize if I went to atco or some negitive da track it would probably get me there, but I want it to be at my track. I want to do it with the power mods I currently have. which means no more boost, stock manifolds, stock stall converter, and stock injectors. I've tried to remove weight wherever I can ( rear seat out when racing, corbeau front seats, leightweight crashbars, braile battery, dr's on racestar wheels) but I'm looking at a few more items to get there. I will be stoked if I can get it there

Maybe a set of headers and get high perf cats or run no cats. 60ft times are good. I think you will get there soon though. Good luck!

11.04@124 was my best full weight with 93 octane. No skinnies, Z06 replica rears, stock injectors, stock exhaust with cats & stock manifolds, stock injectors. My only mods were 9.55 lower(not 10%), 90mm LS3 throttle body(unported), tune, ADM race CAI & drag radials. Stock HX with no reservoir too. The runs were at MIR and I ran it 14 times that day. 60' was always in the 1.60 range. It seems like when restrictions in the exhaust are lessened by headers or removing cats, you must spin the blower faster to compensate. Just for fun, I ran my car at the track recently with an 8.66 lower only which is my road course pulley. It still managed 11.40@121 with a 1.67 60'. The DA was approx +1500ft. You can do it, Cam...but spin the blower a little faster and you will crush 11.0 with ease.

I will at some point upgrade power further, but I really want to hit that number at the power level I'm at now just to prove it can be done. It's a challenge. I did slap an 18% pulley on it once with a splash of race gas, but the tune wasn't happy with the extra boost, and or octane, and popped me into limp mode a couple times. So swapped back to 10% and been there since. It didn't et any better (worse actually), in fact the 60 dropped a little, but did trap over 130 on that pulley.

If you simply want to hit that mark with what you got without more modsand you are that close then try a different track.

your so close obvioulsy with the right DA you could do it. you might consider one more mod. headers or ported snout (or both ha ha) something like that to get you in the consitantly in the 10.9X.

I don't know that anyone has done a 10 with only 10 pounds of boost but it is not something that most people measure. Boost in itself is not a good judge of anything. If you have an efficient cam and heads and a set of headers you will spin your blower at the same speed as a stock car but make 4 pounds less boost. Boost measures the restriction of a motor as much as it measures the drive of the supercharger. I think if I had an auto transmission my 427 with trickflow heads, a radical custom cam, headers and 2.3 liter LS9 blower could run in the 10's with only 10 pounds of boost. I'm certain it could with nitrous. Nitrous doesn't add much boost but gives me over 350+ whp.

Well I am planning on hitting the track thursday and mounted up the drag wheels. I finally bought rear racestars to match the fronts this winter. They are sadly a little heavier than the corvette wheels I was running, lol, so that's not going to help. However what might help is I just ordered a set of m&h front runner tires to replace the falken radials that are currently on the fronts. They are heavy as all hell at 28# each and the m&h are listed at 5# each, so I can be looking at ditching around 40# of rotational weight if that's correct

M&H drag raidals are super sticky and dead hook at 16-18psi on a well prepped track
