Looks great, Where did you get all the intake pipe, especially the MAF Tube?

The MAF housing is from an Ebay listing Will gave me:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251892347977...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It is a 3.5" tube with an air straightener riveted in. They also have 2.75", 3", 3.25", and 4" with or without the straightener.

The silicon pieces are UPGR8 pieces from Amazon, 4-ply. The aluminum pieces are from Spectre Performance.

Got the MAF dialed in correctly to where when I start it up the widebands are at 1.0 lambda. But now I have an interesting problem, my MAF is reading 2,200 Hz with the throttle closed and a vacuum of -6 PSI. Last time on this throttle body it was reading 2,000 Hz with the throttle closed at 2% and a vacuum of -9 PSI. On the stock throttle body it is 2,000 Hz with 7% throttle and -9 PSI. Some how I'm getting air into the manifold past the throttle body but after the MAF, which the only parts there are methanol lines.

Made changes to the DAL, Main Spark, and Optimal Spark tables and got her to idle very good. I still have to put the engine on a load to make sure it handles the AC on, but so far so good. The timing line should be smoother but that is just doing 0.5% changes to the DAL at a time, takes a long time to dial it in perfectly.

Weather is supposed to finally warm up next week, so I will see if part throttle is not a on-off switch like before.

Congrats Magnum on the awesome 1/4 time. You really worked that IPF kit up since I last was around.

Thanks, this year should be better.

I turned the AC on, put the car in gear and revved it, car acted better than the stock throttle body. It handled the changing loads great. I also turned the car off and on to see if I got the same revving problem as before, nothing so far, so the only thing left is actual driving.

Weather warmed up to 60 degrees today and the Panthers game isn't until 5:30 so I took the Camaro out to see how drivability is. With the new Throttle Body Airflow values, it drives like stock, no more off-on switch when you barely push the gas pedal.

I still have more work to do though, when I first put the car in reverse it stalled out, the load values goes up so high it causes problems. Also at WOT the Air Load is now at 163%, with the stock TB it was only 121% at 6000 RPM's. In my tune I have the Max Air Load value for that RPM at 125%, so the TB is now partially closing trying to stop it from allowing too much air in.

Going to be warm most of the week so I will have more time to get the tune dialed in but at least the car runs great at part throttle.

Camaro is on the tow truck, stock transmission line blew off and left a long line of fluid and smoke. The guy behind me stopped with a fire extinguisher ready just in case. Taking it back to the house now.

Oh man what a mess... That sucks, I know the feeling. Which line was it? A quick connect?

Yeah, it blew the line off the fitting. I might have hit a higher pressure cell in the tune since my Air Load was higher. Will have to check the log.

Wow it popped the hose off at the crimp I sure wasn't expecting that. Can't say I see that very often... I figured it came apart where the line goes in to the quick connect, where the little clip is.

Had more time to look at it, the engine torque reading wasn't higher, so it didn't hit a higher cell. It looks like it would have failed eventually. Thing that worries me now is I used the same pressures that IndeedAZ and ETMX used in their tunes that are from FSP, but I upped the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 special oncoming pressure preset values for sport mode. Pressure was increased by 13%, so might have been just enough.

Now I get the decision, do I replace that line with a stock one or replace it with a steel braided line like I did for the trans cooler. Car will be down for a while though, gotta get new transmission fluid and make sure the trans isn't hurt.

It happened at very low speed, barely was on the throttle and the tires started spinning and white smoke was coming out hard. Engine bay is a complete mess, fluid everywhere. Going to have to run a ton of water on it to clear it out.
