Lol,

Sucks that GM's Camaro designers and management don't yet appreciate the importance visibility is to the driving experience.

Visibility and seating support now top my concerns. Of minor concern is rear seating and trunk space. Concern meaning, they may prove to be deciding factors especially when the M2 and Alfa Guilia are set to arrive around the same time as a potentiial SS 1LE. Aleast, a 1LE version could solve the seating support concern by offering Recaros. Both the 6 cyl M2 & Gulia will probably weigh significantly less than the Camaro, probably offer superior ergonomics, while being at least on par in terms of performance. As for driving experience, not sure who'll win but there's a good chance the Alfa will be tops given its weight and Ferrari genetics. In terms of cost... Not sure who'll be least costly. As for reliability, also a toss up.

That the Camaro could be cross compared with these European near exotics, is already a win for GM. Fingers crossed the American car wins my $vote$.

Visibility is on par with the current car. Better over the hood, the only thing that seemed strange was the rear pillar.

I see it the total opposite. The 5th gen was too "soft" looking, not aggressive at all...

The 6th gen fixes all those issues...

Exactly. I really like the 5th gen., but next to the 2016 Camaro it looks somewhat bloated and unwieldly.

I'm like, why isn't this thing taking pictures. The battery has enough charge in it.

That's when I realized the SD card door was open.

Looked in the slot......Sure enough. The SD card wasn't in.

I forgot to put the card back in the camera. D'OH!!

So, sorry to say, I didn't take any pictures.
Hopefully more of the Upstate 5th gen guys will post theirs.

Agreed! The 6th gen is more aggressive and has more edge to it than the 5th gen.

I saw this on another site...short video of the DIC with Camaro coming up upon turning on, pretty cool. Also a link to some pictures of the Nashville show.

I've done this more times that I could admit. So I started carrying 3 SD cards in the camera bag. Solved my issue haha.

Except that M2 and Alfa will be significantly higher priced than even a 2SS with every option. Not mention distance for an Alfa dealer will be high unless you live near. Closest to me is over 50 miles. Given Alfa's history with reliability....that could be quite a pain.

I do the same, carry extra cards in my DSLR camera bag, sucks if that ever were to happen on a vacation!

The 6th gen is light years ahead of the 5th gen. Everything from looks, to driving performance to handling.

Chevy deserves a slice of apple pie!! Great job!

So is it worth it for a 3 hour drive to one of these events?
