^^^^ I agree. Ive always hated how centri's build boost as RPM climbs and you dont see max boost until youre about to shift.

To a point. Centri's can be looked at like turbos in a sense. If you get a smaller blower, boost build up quickly. When you get a larger blower, it takes more time to get boost to build up. Boost does build up with PD blowers too. But you have to think about the time it takes to get that power from the motor to the wheels. If you have a 650hp PD blower, it's not going to put out that power immediately. It's the physics behind it.

Power is always there with a centri too, just got to down shift. Who races or really beats on the car WOT from 2-5k. If you are, why spend money when you can just run the car from 4500-6500 factory and enjoy the power. Either one can spin tires at will.

Agreed, you can get a lot of power for not much cash out of the LSA. It has it's limitations though. How much power are you looking for?

Don't you have to switch out a bunch of accesories for the LSA blower to work?

Oh yea, I'm certainly not complaining with that. I really am only talking about what I've read about PD. You're 100% right in the fact of driving around vs. just down shifting with a centri. The power is there, it's just a matter of when it's released.

I don't think you can put on any supercharger without switching some accessories. All the parts for the LSA are readily available.

Only difference between a 600rwhp and 850rwhp ECS kit setup is the pulley or restrictor. The same can't be said with a Maggie/whipple/etc. Just something to think about for upgrading later. Either one makes enough torque to fry the tires. My centri car makes 500+ft/lbs at 2500rpm and can roast the tires at ease anywhere under 80mph if I want. More low end doesn't help.

Not a supercharger but check out turbo options too. You get best of both worlds, a wicked power band, and great upgradeability, typically for less money.

Same with every other option. Twin turbo, vortech, Maggie, whipple, ECS, Procharger, etc. They all drive great and don't mess with highway mileage.

couldn't said better myself

Has anyone posted a detailed list of needed parts to bolt the Lsa charger on?

Here is a link to a very good list. There is obvioulsy some flexibility in parts you could use but this list is pretty complete in everything you have to consider.

I would cross the LSA blower off the list too. That thread was nothing more than a compilation of parts that are needed. I'm pretty sure it's been done, but not enough abundance of information or people who have done the install to even want to attempt it.

If you are ever going to go up to a 2800 or higher stall converter, go with a centri. Boost at 2500 or even 4000 Rpms mean almost nothing since when you floor it the converter lets the Rpms instantly jump to 4500 or higher.

Looks like the slp type blower is not the way to go. Procharger ,vortex, Paxton seems like I'd favored
