anyone with this setup?

I have a 2011 1LT (v6). im thinking about running 275/40/20 on all corners. looking at the 20x9 tsw nurburgring wheels. not sure on the tyres yet. anyone here running this? pros/cons to running this? (btw, im not looking to race my car or anything.)

if you are running this, what tyre did you go with and why? ive heard plenty of horror stories about the P-Zero's. Everyone seems to like Nittos. Michelin SS is just crazy expensive and i dont think they make that size... anyways, im gonna be looking for a long lasting tyre that is not too noisy, and wont break the bank too bad.

any help is apreciated.

I am, and have been for over a year......and their are a LOT guys here running 20 x 9's 0n all 4 corners with 275/40's. I an running a set if the stock rear wheels on all corners. if you are going to go with aftermarket wheels, just make sure the offsets are right. I too have a LT, and don't do any track time either, I wanted a High Performance tire that would last longer and have good wet and dry, AND not be a stupid SUMMER ONLY tire. Seeing as how my car is not only a DD, I drive it year round. I researched and decided on the General GMAX AS-03's. They are a all-season tire, are High Performance rated (, just like the PZero's), and handle great. I have had them on for nearly a year, and I love them.

as far as the Pro's and Con's........

the Pro's: You can even out your wear on the tires seeing as how you can "rotate" them.

the Con's: there are NONE.

i have a certain look in mind, and i think i have everything figured out. just trying to get opinions and/or suggestions from others. the Gmax's look like the way to go for what im trying to achieve. thanks for your input

Just to look at them, size wise, you can't tell the difference, you have to be standing right next to it and line it up just right to see it.

Quick question so with our LT's we'll have no problem with the 20s all the same size as far as clearance and all that stuff? I wanted to get the same wheels as the OP or the ZL1 reproduction but didn't know if that would cause any issue.

Chris, obviously my wheels are OEM.....but as long as they are the same offset, or very close, there is no issues. the OEM offset for the 20 x 9's is +40 and with that, and with running a 275/40/20's, in the front there is about 1/2" clearance at the strut, thats plenty of room. and that is LOCK to LOCK.

He's got 4 OEM rears wheels , and the offset for the rears are 40 mm
