Does a 79 Trans Am count? 16 and it didn't make it to 17, I barely made it to 17... twin 4 bbls on a olds 455 hooked to a turbo 400 with 4.10 gears, not built for "country roads" and well, I FLEW over a hill and literally through the woods.... My sarcastic fathers comment was "Crap you survived, how bout a Vette?" LOL I finished High School in a "K" car...

I was 19 when I bought my first Camaro (1982 RS) way back in 1984. Then traded up to and 84 Z-28 two years later. In 1989 I bought my first new car, a 1989 IROC-Z. After a 20 year hiatus, I've come back home with my 2010 Camaro 2LT RS.

15 y.o. when I bought #1 below.
Didn't have a DL yet, so I parked it in the backyard, pulled the engine and trans. Freshened up the engine, cammed it, intake, holley carb, ignition system and headers. My buddy built the trans. Put it back together and when I got my DL, the fun began.
