Sirius trial length issue resolved
I got a letter in the mail telling me that previous notices that my trial was ending after 3 months were an error. The letter includes info on what to do if the trial ends before 12 months. Glad this got straightened out without me having to call them like others. The letter is below in case anyone else needs the info.

The quality is so bad on Sirius that I wasn't even going to bother calling back after 12 months.

You should get an additional 12 months after the 3 month trial. That is what I got but I had to get sideways with them on the phone because they were clueless and not helpful an all. What a pain that was.
I doubt that I will extend after because of that experience. |

All they want is your credit card number. Then your in real trouble. I finally had to report the card lost. This cancelled the card and they couldn't bill me again. I won finally.

Could hardly believe the awful customer service experience when I called Sirius.
my sales guy fixed it for me the day before it was set to "expire" at 3 months. Got the letter yesterday. I might re-up for the 5 months for $20 because I do listen to it but I will only do that via check. |

I had to have the dealer call because I kept getting the run around from their customer service department. After the 12 month trial I won't renew the service. Their subscription prices are absurd. I will download my music collection to a USB stick and listen that way.

Same thing happened to me only after an hour phone call with customer care they gave me an additional 12 months after the 3 months ended. It was a hassle but glad it's straightened out.

NEVER EVER give those guys a credit card. ALWAYS insist on a Hard copy invoice..

In my 2010SS The XM cut out every 100 yards! The 16SS is much better but still annoying. Get Spotify or Pandora on your phone and hook up Bluetooth and you will never have an issue again!!!

I love it! I actually payed to get the upgraded service for $10 a month. one cool feature is you can make playlists and share them with other Spotify users. What do you think of the sound quality compared to Amazon?
