To fix that, they would need two different molds and they would need to know if you wanted left or right tires when you order them as they would need different part numbers etc.

Anyone know if the 315s can damage a harness in the driver side wheel well in the rear. I’ve been warned by another track guy to watch it with the 315. Any truth to this ?

At the price you pay for them I don't see the problem with that.

I’ve seen people run 315/35/20 M/T and are lowered. No issues with harness

Thanks buddy! I will need new tires soon on my 2018. I’m going to give it a shot.

That’s a left tire on the right side?!

Treads are not supposed to channel and trap water under the center of the tire.

Bad juju.

Edit: I guess if there is no rotation arrow on the tire and not driven in the wet it’s okay, but it sure looks weird.

This is why I originally mentioned this and I agree Toyo must think that no one ever gets caught in a downpour by accident(even if you only track)!

Sending water back into the center of tire of course lifts it causing hydroplane, why would they intentionally do that? I'm also wondering if all the people who have these and complain about noise maybe the tread direction contributes to that noise.

Move the harness if you road race! Any type of deflection from the rear wheel with a 315/325 wide tire can rub right where that harness runs. The fender liners are felt on the 6th gen and disintegrate right away. When the harness is damaged the car loses the fuel pump, rear brakes, elsd and a few other things.
