No issues with fitment on the 18"s that makes me happy will probably go with the same set up next year. This was my best with street tires this year

As you can see we don't have good air here at all

Almost exactly where I was in better air. Good driving! that 60' is the 1LE problem.

I am at mid 1.9s with 18" NT555Rs and struggling to get lower. I wonder if the big front sway bar and slightly stiffer shocks are hurting weight transfer? You should be able to do better than me with the NT05Rs. I am running 22 pounds and experimenting with the launch.

I was running the other night with a standard SS LS3 with 20" NT555Rs and he was getting low 1.8s with a street start. If I do that I bog. Maybe as mentioned above the 1LE needs more gear, but I have not seen that theory proven.

On an IRS car, the size of either the front or rear bars is not nearly as influential as it is on a solid axle car, particularly if the rear cradle bushings have been replaced with something stiffer. The front bar still is a few lbs of front weight, for whatever that might be worth in a 4000-lb car + driver race weight.

I see, and now that I think of it my '11 SS had a pretty big front bar and poly cradle bushings. So my inability to launch my 1LE with DRs is probably still mostly me. I am running out of time. Snow predicted here in NJ tonight.

I have been getting codes which I thought were due to my no-tune LTs. But then I checked. Here they are:
  • P015B - New A/F code for 2013+
  • P015D - New A/F code for 2013+
  • P0503 - Speed sensor error
  • P015B - See above
  • P015D - LTS cause 4 of these on 2013 and later
This looks like tire size mismatch. Am I correct? Now my problem is finding an 18" tire just at or slightly under 28" tall that will fit my 18x9.5 rims.

I do see a P305/40R18 NT555R the right size, but it requires 10" wide wheels.

Edit: After more research the P0503 is no big deal, unless someone knows better. I think the DRs threw this code with a 1.25 inch height difference as measured by me. But I will keep the setup and just turn off that code if it come back on. The other codes i will get tuned out in the spring hopefully. Isn't modding fun?

So i got a sweet deal and ended buying some Toyo Proxes TQ Drag Radials ($200 a piece new) they were ordered for a customer and he never picked them up, he left a small deposit and I ended up scoring them. Now the problem is finding a wheel that will fit these massive tires and my car, im pretty sure im going to need to go 18x10.5 min and an ET35-40 offset. Any ideas on a wheel that wont break the bank?

I know you can get a 18x10.5 TSW Nurburgring or Interlagos from BestWheelDeals. But they have a +32 offset....might stick out of the wheel well more than you would like. Besides that, the ONLY other option, that fits "properly", would be forgestar. I know you can get F14's or CF5's in sizes up to 18x11 that fit properly. Not exactly cheap, but you kinda painted yourself into a corner with those wide tires. Also....you know those are about 2 inches shorter than stock, right? You will most likely trigger some Traction Control, ABS, and/or Stabilitrak lights unless you're going to run something of a comparable height up front.

Yeah their going to be a track only setup, ill drive to the track on my stockers then throw these on. I could always sell these and get some 305/45/18 MT ET Streets and use the Corvette GS wheels like originally planned.

I think most 18x9.5 +40mm offset C6Z wheel will work, I have ZR1 replicas front and back. Front required mods and 5mm spacer. Been 1.66 on mine.
