I like my Borla, but will probably do the resonated x-pipe and muffler delete

I know for the v6 alot of people drop the names of MRT v2, the solos, or muffler delete with res x pipe. Has anyone tried anything different? Like any glasspack type of mufflers per say or just tried to piece together an exhaust configuration on their own?

I went to a local shop and got a good deal on some Magnaflow Magnapacks that sound really good. I'd try that, but the MRT v1 are good as they are close to what I have.

What do you people mean by muffler delete? To me, it means remove muffler and ad straight pipe in place of muffler. Is that it?

Ironman, I got a resonated x pipe into 2.5 inch ending at a set of stainless works mufflers. It's quiet at part throttle and louder the more throttle. It's got great deep sound.

I had Dyno Max Ultra-Flo mufflers put on with Stainless Works slant cut tips. It looks great and sounds good, but to be honest, for what I spent on this I could have gotten an MRT V2 or even a Borla for the same price.
I got a good deal on the Dyno Max axle back system but hated the tips. In the end what was supposed to be a fairly economical system really didn't work out that way. I mean, it's ok. Nothing wrong with it (now) but I do think I could've done better for the same amount of money. |

I need to get more videos. All the ones I have shot sound too quiet due to where I shot them. Can't really open up in town. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk |

I'm considering the resonated x-pipe and muffler delete... I want the deceleration burbling and gurgling...
The worst part about a loud exhaust is that it shows how hard the car is working to go only slightly fast.
