Anyone got any suggestions for a good aftermarket clutch for the SS?

I would say it depends on what your going to do with the car, here are some great clutches.

Monster
Centerforce
ACT
MCLeod
Mantic
Spec.

Do yourself a favor and read all you can. I myself like Monster, and ACT.

How much power are you putting down?

The M6 SS uses the same clutch as the M6 ZL1, so unless you are putting down well above 600 to the wheels the stock clutch is fine. I could see maybe using a lighter flywheel for the benefit of reducing rotational mass for a faster rev'ing engine, but that does require some minor mods to the Driver Demand tables if you go that route.

Any OEM clutch will look "rusted". Some of it from the clutch material, the other is the OEM stuff isnt painted or powder coated so it does get surface rust on the metal parts. Neither of it impacts the performance of the clutch.

Part of why we are asking the OP, unless the OP is above 1k to the wheels or his stock clutch is toast there isnt much of a reason to go with something outside of the OEM clutch.
