Programming a spare key having just a valet key
Hi guys! Just a quick question I couldn't find a clear answer to. I bought a 2012 Camaro 2SS with manual transmission and just 1 original key which is a valet key (so no buttons on it). The question is if I can buy a new original key fob from eBay (with 4 buttons because it's a manual, OEM 23335583), cut it at the locksmith, and use the programming procedure from YouTube? Will it work? Will the car program the key itself?
Does anyone know the answer for sure? I live in Europe, I'm waiting for the car to come from the auction lot in Portland OR but I want to get 100% ready for it

If the key will start the car it will work to program the new fob.
