The base model doesn't have features to keep the price low. If it did then it would be much higher. The Camaro has PLENTY of options, you just have to pay to play if you want them. Believe it or not, people don't. Why a 1SS sells fairly well and so do the lower V6 trims.

After three months of owning one, I'd have to say I hate the fact there is not climate control. The AC is powerful and it only takes a few minutes to get the car cooled, but then I have to adjust the fan speed and/or cooling level once it reaches the desired cooling level. I really wish it had a set it and forget it temperature setting, especially on the 2LT models.

I hear ya, it's just that so many cars that are cheaper have so many more accentuations that are standard now, my wife's 13 Mazda CX-5 has the navi screen, backup cameras and fog lights, I don't see what the big deal is with not adding a back up camera and fog lights to a 25k car when cars a couple thousand cheaper has it standard. Seems really cheap to me. I mean I bought the car mainly because of the economy, safety rating and the new engine.

I just hate the high driveways, dips, and speed bumps in California because I have a lowered car.

I know I won't get any more clearance in the front by putting 20 inch wheels on my car. It was a speculation thought. It just looks like I won't put a front splitter on my car because I don't want to rip it off. Either that or adjustable coilovers to raise back up to stock height so I can have a front splitter.

Yes in fact I made a sign for people who drag their shoes and dirty it up.

And yes it's taped on like a hinge so anytime someone gets it dirty I flip "it" out instead of flipping out!

I hate the tonneau cover design on my convertible. I leave it off most of the time except for long drives.

Pretty much all newer cars/trucks have "thin metal" - they have to get the weight down to help with better mpg and so on. It's been that way for a while now.
