Also noticed they placed the "Fifty" logo on the bottom of the steering wheel.

I hope this is true, but GM also significantly bumped up the price on the C7 ZO6 and new CTS-V.

I like this part from the press release.
Finally – and unlike some competitors – there’s no need to purchase an optional package to make the ZL1 track ready. Track capability comes standard, with features including an impressive 11 heat exchangers for optimal powertrain cooling.

When we asked him if the new ZL1 was quicker around the track than the Z/28, he said, “The ZL1’s benchmark was the Z/28. And you know what benchmarks are for.” - Motor Trend

And the CTS-V has a new "because Cadillac" premium, as does the whole CTS line. It's artificially expensive. |

Agreed. Even the SS and 1LE were right there with it... But with the ZL1, it's game over. |

Well, sure, this car will beat a GT350R. It better considering it has 120 more hp and 220 more tq. Not really a direct fight.
There is hope after all. This car was named ZL1, not Z/28 like we all expected. Maybe there is something left...

I absolutely love this car. I like how it's instantly recognizable as a ZL1. There's no mistaking it for anything else. The 10 speed was a huge surprise. The ultimate high horsepower Camaro makes us proud once again.
