Now's a good time to throw on some aftermarket parts for all the stuff that's going to get replaced anyway.

OOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!

Damn!! That looks freaking deadly. If I saw that without you saying you survived I would have surely thought it was a fatality. Guardian Angels were working overtime on you!

Where was this at? I see you are from Memphis, I would like to know so I can stay the hell away from that road lol.

Glad you are ok though. Hopefully in a few weeks you will be back on the road.

Yup that's how the pro's make the magic happen.

Wreck your car and it's modding time!

Yup - had to crawl over the seat into the backseat and force open the passenger rear door to get out, but walked away pretty well injury free (slightly strained knee, and glass cuts across backs of both hands from windshield).

Air bag didn't even deploy because the strike wasn't into the bumper directly - and luckily for me it didn't as I was still able to "control" the vehicle correcting for the sliding... and used the center divider wall as a brake assist shredding the front tire and grinding about an inch and a half off the hub since I didn't want to ricochet back out into traffic.

The day after the accident, I went to towing yard and shot those pics ... the owners of the towing company were concerned and asked whether the driver had lived. The highway incident response guy asked me how many times I had rolled it (answer: zero).

OP, luck was with you as far as no tree, pole, or other car in your path. The important thing is you walked away from it.

GM will build you a new Camaro...as many as you need actually. Your parents will not be as accommodating in replacing you. Glad you are o.k...hope the car is as good as new soon.

Last Saturday I was driving down a beautiful back road in said beautiful car. Unfortunately for my car, however, it had rained earlier that morning. I ended up hydroplaning off a bad curve onto a hill, hitting a stump or something, doing a 180, then landing sideways in a ditch. It's pretty depressing for me because it's my first nice car, and I absolutely love it. The body shop said I should have it back in around 3 weeks.

So, does anyone else have stories of their Camaro wrecks they want to share?
A little silver duct tape...good as new.
