It is getting better. Deb has taken full control of her recovery. The doctors prescribe what they think she needs for pain meds. Deb takes only what she knows she needs, roughly 25% of what has been prescribed. Her progress in therapy has been outstanding. Pending x-rays early next week, we are hoping to have Deb home to finish her healing Wednesday.
Your prayers and Deb's strength of will are working wonders. |

I know a guy who has a Gen 1 Z/28..........I've received a ride. Nice.
As for the GT350..........Ford will have failed miserably if they can't best the Z/28. Lower weight and the rest is on Ford engineers. They can simply buy CC brakes and awesome tires.

Last night launching from a red light on a 3 lane road a grocery getting blasted past me... like I was standing still. Get to the next red light, I just had to see what kinda a four door boat is that quick. Tesla.. that big sedan looked bad ass and also gets to 60 in 3.2 seconds. Really really sharp looking car. I'm just so happy it wasn't my first guess a Honda.

GT350 announced with Serious but non CC brakes and 500+ HP with flat crank. should give the Z/28 a run for the money.
Now let's see what Ford prices this beast at. And makes me wonder what GM can do without an LS7, assuming that it dies off with the Gen5.

I think our best hope is an improved LT1 if GM stays N/A for high performance cars but I don't have much faith for that with the new Z06.

What is the max tire and brake size you can run in most racing classes? Are the magnetic dampers even legal? Will thePill commit suicide if the GT350 isn't legal in stock form?

With my family having just experienced a 50 mph broad side crash, you will never hear me complain about the weight of a modern vehicle again. They needed every air bag and ounce of metal to survive. Everyone needs to understand this.
Our other vehicle is a Denali. Many have asked if we'll replace the Sonic with a 'safer' vehicle. Here is the same impact with a taller, heavier Denali. The penetration into the passenger compartment is higher in the SUV. It didn't move, the rollover doesn't count as it is a result of not moving, so the impact energy is all mostly absorbed in the sheet metal. Crush zones, exotic metals, air bags, belts, seats and advanced engineering modeling have made car substantially safer. That said, if you look at the frontal offset crash tests, bigger is clearly better. Pick your poison. Back to the Mustang. It appears by the reports it is still running conservative width front tires. That will hold it back. Last edited by JusticePete; 11-17-2014 at 11:48 AM. |
