CONSTRUCTION Red Deer Gas alley
Alrighty everyone, I have verified that Gas alley by the Costco is under heavy construction.
As stated earlier the Edmonton guys go PAST the 1st turn off into Gas alley. At the second over pass (a half ass clover leaf) at the lights turn left and follow the detour signs. The Calgary guys, take the 1st over pass, and follow the detour signs. The New Petro Canada IS open and able to get to it with out going onto the gravel. See you all tomorrow If it isn't raining...lol

Another company was able to take a piling rig move downtown tomorrow off of my back so I'll be there.....shine or....and the friend that's begging me to go said he'd detail the underside of my car if it gets wet so......I'm told I'll be there for sure haha...

Car is fueled, washed, rims shined up, glass cleaned, windshield washer and tires topped up. Now to pray it isn't raining in the morning! lol

OK....I wasn't sure my schedule would work for this, but I'm in!! (Only me, the better half is staying home to mark tests....silly Teachers!!)

Zero sleeps here, it is 12:36 and I'm finally headed to bed< see you all in the morning.
Just 1 more sleep!!! Rain or Shine, "We" will be at there. ***Two Changes*** 1) We will now be leaving Red Deer at 10:45, I am trying to make up some time given the large group and the added events for this year. 2) Please note the change in restaurant venue, Tonquin Prime Rib Village and Nick's Bar, refer to the original post for details. Also, supper will now be at 6:30pm, therefore, we will be cutting some of our photo stops a little to ensure that everyone will be in Jasper with enough time to check in. Reminders: Rubber Boots Bring you refereshments for the evening, wink wink, that could be expensive in Jasper $20 for park entrance (or park pass) Check tire pressure Windshield Washer fluid Fuel(Don't get caught in Saskatchewan Crossing) and all other fluid levels Camera/Charger/Extra Battery/Tripod GoPro As this will be my last "Rainmaker" cruise for a while, we are planning to make this the best ever. |

Tore up road
They had the road ripped up behind gasoline alley, so you might want to make sure the south cars enter gasoline alley from the north to avoid that stretch.
