This should answer you. For a roof over your head-stay inside your house

I prefer a hardtop... although I would buy a vert in that color combo (w/o the ground effects).

I really don't like the sun. My wife calls me a vampire, haha. I like a roof over my head if I am belted in.

I just picture a good looking chick when I think of verts. Guess some dudes buy them, too. Definitely only useful in certain climates.

Top down...can't beat the look, IMO...Thought about a vert, just chickened out on the "practical" side...As much as mine is a garage queen as is...a vert would have been just a little too much of a luxury...

When cars were FIRST built back in 1910 and 1920s...didn't it seem like most of those cars were a Convertible?

Such as, if you had a horse and buggy...the buggy had a top over it, but it was removable.

A convertible car is similar to that. An open air buggy.

Convertibles are specialty cars which is why I like them.

i always have thought that.

But to me that is one way to not look so aggressive with your car.

I have actually seen a PALE YELLOW with white top...1965 GTO.

Since its a convertible, it looks like a "pretty car".

But its strange to look so Pretty, when it's clearly supposed to be an aggressive sounding/looking musclecar.

Unless it's a hardtop convertible, I've always said,
"Rent a convertible, buy the coupe."

apparently there is a good reason GM offered both the hard top and covert!!!

Suprised someone is not calling for a retro T top roof.

Amen brother! And if it's a little cool outside, the heater works as well.

So glad there's all different options available for our cars! My Grandma used to say "If everyone liked the same thing there wouldn't be enough to go around!". So very true!

Oh and I prefer a hardtop.
