LS3 dipstick tube
any one else have an issue with the dip stick tube breaking at the mount to the head?
its not completely broken, yet.. but its weeping oil is this an easy swap for a new tube? 2015 SS 2SS/RS LS3 6MT

Haven’t heard of that issue but the dipstick tube can be removed by unbolting it from the passenger side head and pulling up. That easy!

Just make sure you see where the old tube goes when pulling it out. Any person who has installed their own headers will tell you that putting the dipstick tube back into the hole can be a pain if you haven’t paid attention when taking it out.

Look under the car to the right of the starter and the heat shield and it’s about right there. You can feel it with your finger pretty easily and when the tube is still in it shouldn’t be hard to locate the hole
