Im wantin to know what everyones tried and what exhaust gives the best deep sounds at idle and goin thru the gears... Ive been on borlas website and their atak sounded kick ass goin tbru the gears. Flowmaster systems are less expensive if you want to go that route. I went with the Flowmaster outlaw axle back and it was very inexpensive, but if you're looking for a catback, it's still less expensive than the Borla systems. Just something to think about, I think they sound fantastic:

Have a look at this sticky. Pretty much has exhaust videos for everything you'll want to know. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21289

I have done some extensive research (i dont have any in real life exp yet tho) and i came to the conclusion that Stainless Works retro chambered 3" would be the best if you, as me, are going to keep the cats and stock manifolds.

Ask Apex for a price, you will be surprised.

The Stainless Works Retro catback and the Magnaflow 3" comp series are my favorites. Nice deep tone and not drony.

Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.

Best regards,

I was torn between the Borla Atak axle back and the Solo Performance axle back with J-pipes and after months of research I went with the Solo. It's cheaper, can be tuned for the sound your looking for and there is no droning. I just received it today so when I take my 13 2SS out of storage next month it'll be the first thing I install.

The best advise I can give you is to ask around your area and listen to what others have installed, check u-tube video's of your favorites and buy what YOU think sounds the best.

It's so hard to find good videos on youtube. Half of them are taken with a phone and the quality is terrible. i think it's between the solo w/j pipes and the Stainless Works retro chambered 3". Not sure what would sound best.
