Stroking to 7.0

Ive been lurking around and cant decide which camaro model I want to get. Im young so I might just save for a couple of years im not sure but if I got an SS how hard would it be to stroke that motor to 7.0? Do those stroker kits even work like that? Has anyone ever done it?

I've been stroking mine every day and I'm still at 6.2. I didn't know stroking makes it larger. Stroker kit? Is that like an automatic stroker? I'm gonna look into that because sometimes I get tired of stroking.

Take a look at this article on the design of the LS7. A whole lot went into this motor, it's not just a stroked ls3.
Kinda makes me leary about the reliability of a punched and stroked ls3.

You can use a 4.125 stroker crank and get 428 cubes.

Not as reliable as the stock or 4.000 stroke, but it's doable with the right rods and pistons.

The stock block has sleeves that are a touch too short to properly use a 4.125 stroke. Sleeve the block if you want that much stroke and since you sleeve why limit yourself. Go 4.125 bore and stroke.
