Aftermarket fuel rail or factory fuel rail flip

I want to clean up my engine bay and was thinking about valve covers and fuel rails, or do the flip. I'm planning to stay with the factory intake manifold. Any advice would be appreciated.

There's a lot of cool things people have done under the hood, so my advice would be to dig through the forum and find as many pictures as you can to get ideas on where you want to go with your build.

I went with Holley valve covers (black crinkle) to keep the coils in the stock location. I also have Holley EFI fuel rails and crossed the fuel line in the back.

Here's a couple angles to show how it looks.

To me the coils/ wires make the biggest mess. Clean those up and the stock fuel lines don't look so bad. I'm an aesthetic guy, so I changed mine to fuel rails, but the stock system is plenty capable.

Did you use a t in the back off the passenger rail to feed both rails. Looks great!

Thanks! Yes, I used EAR-AT925106ERL on the passenger rail. I also went with PFTE lines instead of the stainless steel lines...it was a lot easier to work with and I haven't had any fuel odors. Although it was probably overkill, I also installed EAR-AT100199ERL at the T so I could keep a Schrader valve in the system. This is the same one I used on the driver rail to mount the fuel pressure gauge.

Here's a better lit picture I took during the install.

Here is a pic of mine before I did the LOD install. Stock manifold with the "clamshell" cover painted RJT and the stock fuel rail flip. I also have the Holley tall valve covers custom painted as well and Accel coil packs.

Start with fuel rail flip. If going aftermarket intake, build from there.
