I can't catch a break.

Geez! So last Monday I was at work standing in front of the key machine looking for a key to a new truck I sold. A co-worker thought it'd be funny to come behind me and bump the back of my knee. I dropped to my knees like a sack of potatoes. My left knee and left hip had been hurting so on Thursday I went to the workers comp Dr. and He said my hip is broken!

Dr. ordered me to a orthopedic surgeon Stat on thursday. Apparently stat in a workers comp situation means a waiting 5 days to see the surgeon and get my pain meds approved! I have to be in pain all weekend until they can try to see in on Monday.

To top it off, my son calls me to borrow our folding chairs on Thursday and he goes to my storage shed on y property and he tells me someone broke into it and stole all my stuff. My 3 tier craftsman tool box with tools ($3500), my chain saws, my weed eaters, my heavy duty car ramps, 2 optima batteries, all my air and power tools, my desktop computer, all my ammo, my SRT8 Jeep Wheels and tires, My tackle boxes , my gold Penn reels (3 @$1000 each), my wife's Hummel figurines collection, my lawnmower, and my faith in humanity.

I still need to find a cheap shot gun since I sold all my guns to get through the rough year we had when my son went through his chemo in 2013. The only direction to go from here is up, lol.

Holy Crap man! What a tough spell you are going through. So sorry you have this happening.

The only advice I can give is that with work comp at least in my case and state you have to go for follow up visits in less than one year intervals. Go over a year they are off the hook for covering you for later complications.

Good luck with it all...

Your insurance best be hooking you up, that is a terrible lose. Also I hope your recovery goes well, I would be pissed. The other employee should be paying your premiums, no reason at all for them to have done this to you.

Meanwhile... The co worker never got in trouble for doing this to me, and this is still on going. I have both knees with torn meniscus. I had the left knee arthroscopic surgery on June 2nd. Right knee is next sometime this month. If all goes well with the knee surgeries and it makes my hip to feeling better, I might not need hip surgery ( just tears in the joint, not broken). So, today my Dr appt. was at 9 am to see when the other knee gets surgery and as I am getting ready I notice the water pressure was low. Turns out, Someone stole the Kobalt 60 gallon air compressor off my water well sometime yesterday. When I got home after my physical therapy, I noticed I had no power in the house. Someone opened the breaker box outside on the pole and flipped the breakers off. I simply turned it back on, looked around and everything looked fine at the time until this morning when I went out there and the compressor was gone.

Co-worker is not in trouble?

Sorry to hear that.

When you recover, what hospital are you sending him to?

On a lighter note, Crackheads tried to steal my aircompressor again. They are stupid enough to try and come back. Stakeout tonight!

Say Cheese!
