I always here good things about the driveshaft shop. They have shafts ranging from $650-$1400.

For the record, JDP's prices are right inline with the prices listed at DSS. I'd go with them for the shear fact that they are a C5 vendor and they are just good guys to deal with. They will also make sure you're 100% satisfied with your purchase.

Depending on where you are in the modding process, that $650+ might be better spent elsewhere. A driveshaft isn't high on the "must need" list unless you're making some serious power.

Not thread jacking but at what HP level should you upgrade axles driveshafts and etc.?

I'm not of the same mindset as the people who say you're fine. It's more of a "get it done" thing for me. If you're pushing 500HP, then start expecting things to break. You can fix it first, or after it breaks... your choice. I hate being stuck... so I would choose fix it first .

If you can dead hook with slicks or drag radials, it might just be needed. Even more so with a manual trans. Keep in mind 3800 lbs + driver.
