How did your keys get into your bone marrow? That must hurt. You should get into your Camaro and go right to the hospital. This sounds serious.

I think only people who refer to their cars as "Maros" get their keys locked inside.

WHOA WHOA. Be careful there, sir. You're about to be harassed by countless people on this forum for referring to your car as a "MARO". That is not an acceptable slang word to this forum. Please delete it at once before the hecklers swarm on this thread.

How did you get both keys in there and lock it?

Now, don't you have a second key somewhere? When you finally get into your Camaro, go to the Config settings on MyLink and set the door locks so they will only lock with the remote. That way, if you accidentally push the manual door lock and close the door, the lock will pop up and not allow the door to lock. Then you will only have to worry about locking your keys in the trunk, after locking the doors with the remote.

A few weeks ago, I was boasting about how I have never locked my keys in the car--- ever. One method I use is to never ever ever ever manually lock the door, but ONLY lock it with the remote.
The next day, I was going for a run (gotta beat my 40s, I have NO intention of looking old!), and went to a semi- secluded area to change my clothes, just outside of the car. I stripped down, put on my sweats and running shoes, and closed the door. Oops, I forgot to grab my keys... and just as I tried to open the door, the pair of pants on the front seat sort of fell over, and I actually WATCHED the belt buckle tick the "lock" button on my fob. Talk about lousy luck. Of course, cell phone and wallet and all things dear to me were still inside. I'm just glad I had sweats on by that time. I had to do some walking, and eventually got to a phone. Had to look AAA up in the phone book (since my CARD was inside the car!), but eventually got a dude to come out. The only way he was able to open the car was to wedge the window open (THAT'S nerve- wracking!), and use a long tool to press the "unlock" button on the pesky key fob that locked me out to start with. I am more careful than ever, and no longer boast of my perfect record of never locking keys in any car... not that I HAVE a perfect record any longer! |

What is worst, calling their car "MARO" or "CAMERO"?
