Question Is Now Just Not A Good Time to Buy???

Hi all. I'm currently looking for a Black V6 RS Camaro. There are getting sort of hard to find around the St. Louis area. There's really only one around here that has everything i want on it.

Sale Price $28,830
MSRP $32,100

http://www.weberchevrolet.com/invent...ro-Columbia-IL

Is this an ok deal, or do you guys think i should wait for better incentives? I would try to talk the dealer down in price, but I'm not sure how low they would go. I walked out on a few camaros already in the past 6 months because the dealer just wouldnt make my price point. I am somewhat afraid that this car might sell, and then i would probably have to drive a few hundred miles to look at another one.

Thanks!

That's a pretty good deal if that is truly the price and not having ridiculous things you need to qualify for to get that price. But yeah this time of year won't be good for incentives given this is prime season for sports cars/pony cars sales as temps warm up. Better deals will come come August/September as dealers try to off load remaining 2017's. But choice of vehicle may be more limited.

But, still if you want to bite now, that is pretty good price and probably could get it a bit lower by haggling.

Here is the link to the car on the dealers website

As far as i know, its just a base model V6 with the RS package and a sunroof. I cant really tell if it has anything extra besides that.

And heres another link to a similar V6 with RS package from the same dealer chain

http://www.weberchevrolet.com/invent...ranite-City-IL

Its over a $1000 cheaper, but it doesnt have a sunroof. Im having a hard time believing that the only difference in the two cars is the sunroof with the $1000 difference.

Seems like a good price to me.
Sunroof is a $900 option so yeah, makes sense.

If that's THE car you want, don't wait for a better deal. It's always possible that you'll save a couple dollars waiting for year end deals, but it's also possible that you'll lose THAT car and end up with color/options you're not 100% sold on. If you can afford it, PULL THE TRIGGER!

sports cars tend to sell at lower prices during the seasons that have bad weather for driving sports cars. Now is probably not the ideal time for a buyer for this car in that area. But then again, the best deals are probably behind you as Chevy begins reigning in overstock. So...probably wont get much better deals until 2018's start showing up.

That's exactly what I did. I looked and looked and finally found one with the options I wanted. It was a couple hundred miles away, but my dealership brought it in on a flatbed free of charge.
