I'm not sure what trigged it but I had the same thing pop up on mine when I installed the Magnuson.

it will quickly go away after a few key cycles.

I have not seen that (I WISH I HAD) I would sub battery volts for boost any day.
Now I am interested, I'll have to talk to my PPL at GM. I have to believe it is a program that is triggered by the 3bar MAP. Sad (my friend) the GM guru retired.

My car didn't have a 3 bar MAP when I installed my procharger, I had the same thing come up. I believe it is from disconnecting the battery for a period of time during the install, mine went away shortly after. I wish we could use it as an actual boost gauge though!

Likely a setting in the body control module for the dash... for another engine platform.

Would take some serious coding to get it to work for a car its not programed for.


NOTE: Mustangs have a "boost" gauge as well, however, its only calculated and is nowhere near accurate.

It probably has something to do with how you set the Sensor Config under MAP in Engine-Airflow-General.

And there's apparently more than 1 version, the 2018 ZL1 I had on the dyno today had the same gauge, except with a par of 4 lobe rotors in the middle
